ACCEPTING JUDGING ASSIGNMENTS

LETTER OF AGREEMENT

Effective for the 1994 Show Season: All judging assignments are to be confirmed by means of the “SPBE Letter of Agreement”. This form will be provided to all affiliated Clubs are part of the regular affiliation package for the year. When an unaffiliated Club engages a SPBE Judge, a “Letter of Agreement” should also be used.

INSTRUCTIONS: TO THE CLUB

  1. Make at least two (2) copies of this “SPBE Letter of Agreement” after you and the Judge have agreed upon terms, and after you have filled out the appropriate sections of the form. DO NOT fill in paragraph #7 unless the Judge has already agreed to the provisions of that paragraph.
  2. The Club’s authorized representative must sign two (2) copes of the form and send both copies to the judge.
  3. The Judge will retain one (1) copy and sign the other. The Judge must send the signed copy back to you.
  4. As soon as you receive the signed letter of agreement from the Judge, you must make one more photocopy of this document and send it to the SPBE Judges’ Panel Director.

THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT VALID

UNTIL A COPY HAS BEEN FILED WITH THE PANEL DIRECTOR.

 

INSTRUCTIONS: TO THE JUDGE

1.      Judge should refer to the SPBE Judges Handbook for information on the letter of agreement.

2.      Judges who are engaged to officiate for Shows sponsored by Clubs that are not affiliated with        SPBE must obtain a letter of agreement from the Panel Director and provide these forms to    the Clubs that engage the Judge’s services. See the appropriate paragraph in the Handbook.

IN NO CASE IS THE LETTER OF AGREEMENT VALID UNTIL A COPY HAS BEEN FILED

WITH THE SPBE JUDGES’ PANEL DIRECTOR.
